Descripition of High frequency switching power transformer
Transformer is a device to change AC voltage, current and impedance. When the primary coil has AC current, AC magnetic flux will be generated in the iron core (or magnetic core), which will induce voltage (or current) in the secondary coil.
The transformer is composed of iron core (or magnetic core) and coil. The coil has two or more windings. The winding connected to power supply is called primary coil, and the other winding is called secondary coil.
